Apply patches, upgrade software, install signature updates. Path determination & obtaining permissions for users. Review of infrastructure for compliance. Manage firewall and IPS systems. Alternate ISSM duties to include: Conducting periodic inspections. Ensuring classified computers are properly configured. Obtaining accreditation for new classified systems. Training ISSOs. IT incident response. Provide technical support in investigations & security projects. Create & update security procedures. Other InfoSec & security duties as assigned
Job Requirements -Must be a US citizen.
-Must hold a US government security clearance.
-Should have Bachelors degree in Information Security, MIS, Computer Science or related. Other degrees will be considered with relevant experience.
-Experience working in classified environment is preferred.
-Experience with HBSS and ACAS applications is preferred.
-Experience with applying DISA STIG hardening guidelines locally and via GPO.
-Familiar with computer network infrastructure design, development, and deployment.
-Familiar with Windows Operating Systems as a Server and Desktop Administrator.
-Familiar with Active Directory Management.
-Familiar with Unix/Linux Operating Systems.
-Familiar with Juniper firewalls and Sourcefire IPS Systems.
-Understand NISPOM and DISA security requirements. Prepare for SVA and CCRI audits.
-Understand basic security concepts relating to common network security models.
-Maintain security procedures.
-Able to think and react quickly to rapidly changing situations.
