You will be matched with opportunities to be a classroom assistant for 1-2 hour shifts at schools, buildings and communities across New York City. These classroom assisting opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks. In this role, you'll have the following responsibilities:

Assist the primary classroom instructor in facilitating a great classConsistently arrive at your class on time (or early!)Create memorable experiences for the children in your classrooms Able to create positive class community and build relationships with studentsHas excitement, joy and passion for teaching kids and personal development/learningCooperative, supportive, flexibleHas a strong work ethic and do whatever it takes mind setAt least two references
