Clerk I

Job Summary: The Clerk l is responsible for overseeing the efficient flow of goods into and out of the warehouse.
This includes checking in truck drivers, coordinating deliveries and shipments, and maintaining accurate records.
The Traffic Clerk is also responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


Duties/Responsibilities:


Check in truck drivers and ensure compliance with all delivery schedules and protocols.
Coordinate the flow of incoming and outgoing deliveries and shipments.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and shipments, including quantities, destinations, and delivery times.
Communicate with internal departments and external customers to resolve any issues or delays.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal regulations.
Process invoices and reconcile shipments with billing records.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Required Experience and Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree in logistics or a related field preferred.
1+ years of experience in warehousing and logistics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge with FEDEX ship station, WMS or ERP systems Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.


Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to perform repetitive motions.
