A Dock Clerk is responsible for routine clerical and data entry functions that support the Shipping & Receiving and Operations teams.

Distribute, assign and complete warehouse management system tasks Monitor required process completion standards to ensure on time delivery schedules Ensure all deliveries are dispatched promptly, accurately and with all necessary documentation Accurately process paperwork, gather and verify data and transfer data into a standard format Generate correspondence, respond to routine inquiries and perform a variety of clerical duties Maintain various computerized reports, charts and graphs Communicate issues to appropriate TVS personnel Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (forklift) as needed Perform housekeeping tasks such as sweeping and removing scrap, pallets, cardboard, etc. Perform all other duties as assigned Regular and reliable attendance at work Competencies Attention to detail Communication proficiency Technical capacity Teamwork orientation Decision making Results driven High safety regard Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate may occasionally be required to lift 51 pounds, anything greater than 51 pounds requires assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
This job is performed in a busy warehouse with high forklift traffic. Warehouses are subject to seasonal temperatures. Steel-toed shoes and safety vests are required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Full Time, Non-Exempt, Second Shift. Schedule flexibility for extended or unplanned work hours is required.

Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required 2+ years of experience operating a forklift in a busy warehouse environment OSHA-endorsed forklift certification or ability to become certified Basic computer skills and experience with a warehouse management system Prior work experience in a warehouse and/or a Just-in-Time (JIT) environment preferred Knowledge of safety practices Other Duties
