Job Description: Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator, Client Intake, and Social Media Specialist
Position Overview: HopeBUILDERS Home Repair is seeking a dedicated and organized individual for a part-time position focusing on volunteer coordination, client intake, and social media management. This role is essential in supporting our mission to provide critical home repairs and accessibility modifications for older adults and people with disabilities in the greater Kansas City area. 
Key Responsibilities:
VOLUNTEER COORDINATION
Volunteer Recruitment and Management:
Improve volunteer recruitment processes to increase the volunteer base and effectively utilize volunteers.
Promote volunteerism through social media, eBlasts, and the website.
Develop corporate and group sponsorship programs.
Organize volunteer recognition events in collaboration with the Executive Director.
Weekend Ramp Build Coordination:
Coordinate volunteers for weekend ramp builds (two Saturdays per month and occasional weekdays):
Manage volunteer check-in, name tags, and waiver forms.
Confirm van drivers for weekend ramp builds.
Arrange lunch and set up at the work site.  Seek donations of lunches and discounted partnerships.
Take progress pictures and gather client stories.
Database and Information Management:
Collect and manage volunteer information, including availability, skillset, hours worked, and impact measurement.
Manage waiver forms, implement online waiver submissions, and create a system for annual waiver renewals.
Oversee the email and external opportunity postings (e.g., Volunteer Match, United Way, AARP).
CLIENT INTAKE
Screen incoming calls and direct to client intake volunteers; assist with intake calls as needed. Respond to and route existing client calls.
Screen and direct online requests for assistance.
Manage and refine intake processes to ensure efficient client service.
Send reminders to clients to collect income documentation for eligibility.
Create photo album for each client
Send surveys to clients at project completion; process returned surveys.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Marketing and Communications Plan:
Develop an annual marketing/communications plan that maximizes all of the organization's marketing channels, including mail, eBlasts, website, and social media.
Facilitate the execution of the annual marketing plan in collaboration with HopeBUILDERS staff and volunteers.
Content Creation:
Write social media posts and other content for the website, eBlasts, and blog.
Gather client stories and photos/videos to document the impact of the organization's work.
Establish guidelines and practices for consistent posting on social media
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience in volunteer coordination, client services, and social media management.
Proficiency in CRM databases and online marketing tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
