You will develop long-term strategies and shorter-term plans to meet revenue goals. You must be extremely results-driven, customer-focused, technologically savvy, and skilled at building customer relationships, internal relationships, and external partnerships focused on these accounts.  **Must be located in the greater DC Metro area**Essential Functions The essential responsibilities of the Client Executives are to work directly with customers to capture sales opportunities and to work effectively across functions with the extended NetApp team and partner community through meetings and activitiesFocus on developing new customer relationships and opportunities within existing accounts and white space accounts and divisions with the full NetApp portfolio through relationship building with your accounts, FSI, and partner communityDeveloping business through prospecting, tailoring customer proposals, organizing proof of concepts, and responding to RFP/RFIs for NetApp products – leveraging your cross-functional NetApp teamManaging the sales forecast/pipeline and building a quarterly account plan for assigned accountKeep NetApp key stakeholders informed of key issues and changes that may impact customer satisfaction and expected business resultsSelf-driven within the role and owning the end customer results, since there is little management interaction dailyManage ongoing customer relationships to ensure that their needs are being metJob Requirements Manage ongoing customer relationships to ensure that their needs are being met by utilizing strong relationship-building and negotiating skillsStrong understanding of software technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplaceExperience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniquesExperience as a Sales Representative with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple yearsDemonstrated ability to develop strong relationships with C-level executives, both at the customer and partner levelClear understanding of Federal Government Procurement Policies and the appropriate application of Lobbyists, Political Consultants, Marketing and PR Resources, and Federal buying cyclesExperience demonstrating expertise in technical specifications required to sell NetApp products and services is requiredEducation and Experience A minimum of 5 years of individual contributor sales experience is preferredBachelor's Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Is required. A Graduate Degree is desiredSuccessful track record of selling into government accountsThis role is a Washington DC Based PositionTravel requirements up to 30% CompensationThe salary range for this position is $223,000 - $273,000 total on target earnings and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
