DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is expanding our Client Experience Team in preparation for opening our second building soon!

About this position: As a member of the Client Experience Team, you are the first point of contact for clients and their pets, whether they are arriving for an emergency or an appointment. This role combines strong client service with administrative duties, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for pet owners during what can often be stressful situations for them and their pets. Daily tasks center around communication with clients, the hospital staff, third parties like referring veterinarians, and the administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and taking payments.
As a member of the Client Experience Team, you will be cross trained throughout the hospital to provide excellent client service in all departments. When working in the ER, you will primarily focus on quick response triaging and providing patient updates to clients. When supporting the appointment-based departments, your focus will be building long-term relationships with patients and clients.

$19.95 - $22.00/hour, depending on education, experience and certifications. Shift differential pay is also offered for applicable shifts.
Schedule: The Client Experience Team is hiring for 3/4 rotating schedules, which means you work three 10-hour shifts one week and four 10-hour shifts the next, rotating back and forth. That averages 35 hours per week for full-time and gives you 3-4 days off every week! As a 24/7 hospital, all available positions require weekend and holiday availability. Most schedules include one weekend day per week.

Generous employee discount Paid vacation and sick time Predictable scheduling with ample time for your life outside of work What We're Looking for in a Candidate: Experience:At least one year of in-person, fast-paced customer service experience is requiredExperience supporting a wide variety of clients or customers in challenging situationsExperience scheduling appointments preferred, especially medical scheduling Veterinary or medical field experience preferred Skills & Qualifications:High attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and remain composed in busy environmentsProblem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger teamStrong proficiency with desktop computers and the ability to learn veterinary softwareAbility to accurately handle cash transactionsAbility to type at least 45 words per minute while engaging with clients Comfortable handling multi-line phone systems while managing in-person interactions Education:High School Diploma or equivalent required
