Job Description:
Marathon Petroleum is seeking a remote Client Relations Assistant to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As an Associate level position, the Client Relations Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing client relationships. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will be driven, resilient, and possess strong negotiation and strategic planning skills.
Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner- Work closely with the Client Relations Manager to develop and implement client retention strategies- Coordinate and schedule client meetings, both virtual and in-person- Prepare reports and presentations for clients, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and expectations are exceeded- Assist in the onboarding of new clients, providing guidance and support throughout the process- Monitor client satisfaction and proactively identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to better serve clients and anticipate their needs
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in client relations or account management- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding client expectations- Knowledge of the oil and gas industry is a plus
