Client Security Architect

Summary:
The Client Security Architect must have experience working across a wide variety of security solutions and technologies. Must be able to maintain and troubleshoot solutions that enable security configurations, administration, management, and support. Must be able to partner with clients to architect the appropriate security point solution configuration and set up support monitoring within our platforms for service delivery operations. Must understand core IT security tools and network fundamentals. This is a supporting position that is customer-facing which helps to maximize technology investments from clients.
Key Competencies: Experience working with enterprise class Anti-Virus software/Next-Gen AV/EDRUnderstanding of core network protocols (DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP, UDP, SSL, SSH, SCP, FTP, IPSec, etc.)Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, VMware).Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues across different platforms.Experience in conducting threat modeling and risk assessments to identify potential security threats.Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSSMicrosoft security application configuration, support, and management including:Microsoft Defender for EndpointMicrosoft Defender for Office 365Microsoft Defender for Identity & Azure AD Identity ProtectionMicrosoft Cloud Application Security (MCAS)Microsoft Azure SentinelKnowledge of technology solutions in one or more of the following functional areas:Cyber Security point solution tools and suites listed aboveIT Network/Cloud Environment data/metadataOwnership mindset, with demonstrated partnership with functional counterparts to deliver on a material set of business objectivesExperience with Security tool configuration, management, and troubleshootingRequirements: SIEMSSL DecryptionMalware DetectionHIDS/NIDSNetwork Monitoring ToolsCase Management SystemMicrosoft Azure Security productsEmail SecurityData Loss PreventionQualifications: Excellent teamwork skillsExperience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix systemsAbility to handle high pressure situations in a productive and professional mannerWritten and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex technical topics in clear and easy-to-understand languageTeamwork and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a globally distributed teamAbility to provide tuning recommendations for security tools to internal operations teams and to clientsAbility to work in a client-facing role to assist customers with correcting service issues and advising on best practices as related to the security tools supported within the client's environmentPreferred Qualifications: Experience in security tool administration as well as systems administration3+ years of hands-on Security support or Systems Administration support experienceSecurity +, CEH, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator preferredFamiliarity with Microsoft Cloud IT Infrastructure toolsUnderstanding of programming/scripting languages and ability to run basic database queriesEducation: Minimum bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or another IT-related field.
