Job Description
The Client Technology Specialist will work as part of Knotel's North America IT team and be responsible for managing the installation and configuration of Knotel's technology services.
This role oversees delivery of networking and physical infrastructure, conference room solutions and custom technology deployments.
The Client Technology Specialist will be required to have a fundamental understanding of technology interoperability with a focus on on-site implementation of network services.
Strong problem-solving methodologies, resourcefulness and intellectual curiosity are key Knotel virtues and will be paramount to their success.

Responsibilities Essential Job Duties: Engage with clients to understand their networking AV and Security requirements.
Create site needs lists, source products and vendors, and make recommendations to manager for purchase.
Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
Collaborate and interact with vendors.
Provide direction and oversee vendor work when on-site.
Maintain regular communication and establish good relationships with vendors.
Respond and work with clients to provide IT solutions on day-to-day issues.
Manage and budget all programs and systems related to IT in North America.
Monitor client networks and AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor client physical security via cloud managed access control and surveillance systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve networking and AV issues for clients.
Provide training to clients on networking and AV systems.
Work collaboratively with our sales team to identify potential networking and AV opportunities.
Assist in the development and implementation of networking and AV policies and procedures.
Communicate with manager and advise client regarding any outages in a timely manner.
Cross-train and provide IT support to internal staff for networking and applications as needed.
Travel will be required periodically in this role.
Skills, Education and Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT Networking and AV support.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and standards.
Experience with Cisco Meraki and other networking vendors.
Experience with audio-visual systems, including video conferencing, projectors, and audio systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
