Bear Lake Memorial Hospital is seeking a hard-working, dependable Clinic Manager.
The Clinic Manager will conduct, supervise, manage, and administer the day-to-day operations of the clinics and maintain the objectives, policies and procedures of the facility under the direction of the CEO.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Participating in Quality Improvement efforts Adhering to policies and procedures, assisting with writing policies and procedures as needed Understanding and overseeing all clinic billing processes Generating, analyzing and submitting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as needed.
Training and delegating to office staff as necessary to perform assigned duties Assisting with hiring, interviewing and disciplinary actions as needed Answering miscellaneous questions from staff, patients & families Communicating with patients regarding their bill or other concerns relating to the clinic as needed Working in a professional, confidential manner Understanding and incorporating government regulations into daily activities When appropriate, directing patients to other hospital representatives for proper assistance Being proficient in the use of the hospital's operating systems Using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
to track and monitor daily processes Monitoring clinic status through the use and generation of reports Understanding pre-authorization/pre-certification requirements for all payers Cross training in other departments Understanding, following, and enforcing safety procedures Obtaining and inputting all of the necessary patient information into the operating system in a timely and accurate manner.
Patient information may include demographics, insurances, financials, history, etc... Obtaining any necessary co-pays, deductibles, or coinsurances at time of service Presenting patients with appropriate documentation for signatures Adhering to all government regulations pertaining to patient privacy including HIPAA Understanding and articulating the different patient financing options to private pay individuals and the community Understanding and teaching the hospital's write-off policies (including charity, bad debt, administrative adjustment, etc...) Maintaining a high level of integrity Managing, understanding, training, and measuring staff performance related to all clinic services & responsibilities Other related duties as assigned Requirements: Must be capable of working with minimal supervision.
Experience with EHR software programs preferred.
Must have strong abilities in verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to schedule time effectively.
Prioritize work appropriately.
Ability to work as a team within and throughout departments/workgroups.
