Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY The Clinic Receptionist of Marshall Medical Center Outpatient Clinics schedules, greets, and registers patients, provides reception, routes phone calls to the appropriate party, and collects payments when necessary.
This position also provides clerical support to the clinic on a daily basis.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Licensure/Certification: n/aKnowledgeBasic medical terminology, insurance billing, and computer familiarity is preferred.SkillsEffective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsBasic office equipment familiarityAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptionsMaintains positive disposition at all times is requiredComfortable with regularly verifying and processing insurance eligibility and obtaining authorization requests, including verifying personal credentials with external partners.
