Scott County Hospital, located in Scott City, KS, is seeking a
Receptionist
for our clinic facility. We are a family-orientated team who are committed to providing the level of care that truly makes a positive difference. Clinic Receptionist Responsibilities:
Know software and be able to use it efficiently.
Operate switchboard telephone system.
Schedule appointments.
Collect appropriate demographics from the patient and set them up in the computer.
Complete encounter forms.
Assist patients with billing questions or transfer to the appropriate billing staff.
Collect payment for services by following clinic policies and procedures.
Maintain patient confidentiality.

All individuals in this department are expected to treat patients under the direction of the physicians and in compliance with the wishes of the patient/customer and family members as long as it does not conflict with the physician's orders and is in the best interest of the patient/customer. At no time should the personal interests and beliefs of a staff member interfere with the treatment and care a patient /customer receives.
Education, Qualifications, Experience:
High School diploma or GED.
Previous healthcare experience preferred.
