Position Summary
The Part-time Clinical Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Clinical Placement Coordinator - PA Program, the Clinical Coordinator, and the Program Director.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the PA Program Director, Clinical Placement Coordinator, and PA Program Administrative Assistant to include but no limited to:Secretarial supportAssist in maintenance of clinical databases, i.e., Typhon, CASPA, AccessProcess and prepare student clinical rotation paperwork for faculty review.EOR Exam Scores and Final GradesTyphon Logged HoursAssessment of Preceptors and Clinical Learning SitesFaculty Site Visit Evaluation of StudentsAnnual Preceptor Curriculum Effectiveness SurveyAnnual surveys of USF graduates (employment, curriculum effectiveness survey)Additional documentation as requested by the program directorHelp maintain ARC-PA required documentation for accreditation.Front desk/ phone coverage when needed.Perform other secretarial support functions as required.Assist in training and cross-training of administrative assistants.Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GEDComputer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, and ExcelDemonstrate communication skills and ability to relate to the general public, students and faculty in a tactful and courteous manner.Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the University.Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position Preferred Requirements
•Experience and proficiency in Banner, CASPA
•Bachelor degree
Hours/Shift/Work Schedule
Part-time, 20 hours/week
Physical Requirements of Position
Work is performed in an office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards.
Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
This is sedentary work that requires the following physical activities: sitting, walking, bending, stooping, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity.
