Position Summary: The Clinical Application Analyst is responsible for the implementation, configuration and ongoing optimization of clinical software applications within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical workflows and the ability to translate these into optimizing workflows, ensuring smooth go-lives, and providing continuous support to enhance the effectiveness of clinical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with JIVA (ZeOmega), Power BI, and MS SQL Server (T/SQL). A background in managed care is preferred, as this will assist in the understanding and optimization of clinical and operational processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Implement, upgrade, and configure clinical application software applications, with a particular focus on JIVA (ZeOmega). Provide support during go-live and rollout phases and monitor and address application issues. Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and other maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations. Provide end-user training and support for clinical applications as needed to ensure effective utilization of the systems Maintain up-to-date documentation for all clinical applications, including system configurations, data flows, and user guides to support end-users and ensure proper utilization of clinical applications Works with various teams to improve clinical system functionality and optimize workflows through system customization. Propose system modifications to improve effectiveness and efficiencies based on user feedback and system performance. Conduct regular system audits to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations, including HIPAA Collaborate with help desk and vendors to resolve escalated issues. Perform data analysis, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve data accuracy and reporting. Participates as a lead and/or key contributor on modifications/new development for clinical applications Analyzes workflows and supporting data to determine possible improvements and ways to more accurately and expeditiously capture data needed for reporting purposes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field Minimum of two years' experience in a health data analyst role, clinical application support or healthcare IT required Experience with JIVA (ZeOmega) or similar clinical applications is highly preferred Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and clinical staff. Experience working in a health plan or managed care organization preferred
