To provide support services for the Data Science and Sharing Team in the National Institute of Mental Health.
Deliverables: Work products and documents related to constructing and executing neuroimaging pipelines on large datasets; research, download, organize, and curate large datasets related to mental health. - DailyWork products and documents related to developing engineering features on neuroimaging and other data related to mental health for machine learning algorithms; participate in and contribute to different aspects of the research study through study planning, decision-making, problem-solving and strategic analysis. - DailyWork products and documents related to writing code to execute data analysis, visualize and provide interpretation and context to results of analysis; enter and verify data fields and data dictionaries; perform descriptive and missing data analysis; applies a variety of data reduction techniques. - DailyWork products and documents related to performing data cleaning (identifying and correcting data entry errors and/or missing values) and data transformation (creating and categorizing variables and imputing data); Prepare summaries and reports for staff review. - DailyWork products and documents related to conducting relevant literature reviews and collaborate on relevant research publications; research and review literature to retrieve targeted clinical or scientific information from publicly available resources; provide literature review related to analyses used in comparable studies. - WeeklyWork products and documents related to developing training strategies and implement training activities for internal and external researchers; provide consultation on use of statistical methods and/or software packages to other staff. - Weekly Work Details: Participate in and contribute to different aspects of the research study through study planning, decision-making, problem-solving and strategic analysis. - 1 Assists in performing a variety of data management and analytical tasks and organizing complex, large-scale datasets.Construct and execute neuroimaging pipelines on large datasets. - 2Develop engineering features on neuroimaging and other data related to mental health for machine learning algorithms. - 3Write code to execute data analysis, visualize and provide interpretation and context to results of analysis. - 4Conduct relevant literature reviews and collaborate on relevant research publications. - 5Utilizes statistical software packages to manage, maintain and analyze large, complex statistical datasets.Documents analyses performed and prepares progress reports summarizing results.Prepare summaries and reports for staff review.Performs a variety of data management and analytical tasks and organizing complex, large-scale datasets.Research, download, organize, and curate large datasets related to mental health.Conducts statistical analyses on completed and ongoing studies utilizing a wide range of standard and non-standard statistical software packages for all projects.Enter and verify data fields and data dictionaries.Perform descriptive and missing data analysis.Applies a variety of data reduction techniques.Perform data cleaning (identifying and correcting data entry errors and/or missing values) and data transformation (creating and categorizing variables and imputing data).Reviews and summarizes relevant literature and other sources to develop analytical plans.Research and review literature to retrieve targeted clinical or scientific information from publicly available resources.Provide literature review related to analyses used in comparable studies.Learns and applies new statistical methods and software packages and provides consultation and training to other analysts and staff.Develop training strategies and implement training activities for internal and external researchers.Provide consultation on use of statistical methods and/or software packages to other staff. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 represents

Salary Range
$95,000—$104,000 USD
