About the Job: Clinical Director / Adult Medicine Take the opportunity to lead as a Clinical Director in Adult Medicine at a prominent healthcare facility located in Hartford, Connecticut. This role offers the chance to impact patient care on a significant scale, overseeing the adult medicine department and directly influencing the treatment of underserved populations with complex needs. Compensation: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 annually
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in an efficient manner, focusing on underserved populations. Oversee all aspects of clinical operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for clinicians and supporting staff. Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and standards specific to clinical expertise areas. Supervise a team of advanced practitioners such as APRNs and PAs, promoting a collaborative work environment. Engage in strategic planning and implementation to align departmental goals with overall organizational objectives. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency. Develop and maintain effective communication and relationships across various departments as well as with external partners and stakeholders. Use data to make evidence-based decisions and contribute to enterprise-wide projects with a focus on adding value and enhancing patient care outcomes. Manage and utilize electronic health record systems to optimize patient information management and care continuity. Initiate, judge, and execute various organizational strategies to meet predefined goals and objectives. Minimum Position Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Demonstrated experience in leadership roles within large health center settings or private practice, preferably at a directorial level. Proven ability to implement strategic plans and manage healthcare teams effectively. Strong understanding of health care compliance issues and governance related to clinical operations. Superior communication skills necessary for effective collaboration and relationship-building. Preferred Qualifications: Physician License in the state of Connecticut (Preferred but not mandatory). Skills: Expertise in managing electronic health record systems and leveraging technology to improve patient care. Highly skilled in data analysis and decision-making based on robust evidence and detailed assessments. Ability to foster a culture of accountability and resourcefulness among staff.
