Responsibilities
• Manage referral information to facilitate admissions and evaluate prospective residents with Executive Director• Serve as liaison between staff and hospice teams• Plan and orient new clinical employees• Maintain accurate census information and compile statistics• Share on call time with Clinical Assistant• Maintain accountability for clinical staff• Coordinate in-services and facilitate development and training of staff• Coordinate educational opportunities for students and community• Maintain and review documented records for medications• Maintain employee health records
Requirements
• Registered nurse required, preferably in Hospice and/or Palliative Care• Previous experience working with terminally ill persons• Proven ability to deal effectively with diverse groups of people and provide leadership• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Knowledge of computer operation including Microsoft Word and Excel• Willingness to work flexible hours
Key Skills Needed
