Asteroid Health is seeking a Clinical Director for their outpatient mental health treatment program in Newton, MA for adults (18+).

Clinical Director Salary Range: $95,000-$125,000
Join us as the Clinical Director and take a leading role in shaping our outpatient mental health clinic.Develop the clinical programming and scheduling.Work closely with our executive team.Make a real difference in clients' lives.Lead a dynamic team and elevate the quality of mental health care.Spearhead clinical services, motivate your team, and drive program development in a vibrant startup environment.Make a meaningful impact with us!CLINICAL DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES Provides supervision for clinical staff, facilitating weekly/biweekly individual and group supervision, documenting supervision notes, and assisting counselors in effective and individualized treatments for clients.Supervises all clinical staff activities, monitoring groups, individual therapy, documentation practices, and charting to maintain high standards of quality and effectiveness.Provides direct clinical care to clients in individual and group settings as needed.Develops and implements the policies and procedures for the operation of the outpatient clinic.Coordinates and collaborates with contracted billing company and internal utilization review staff.Participates in monthly medical records and quality assurance meetings, developing clinical performance improvement strategies.Participates in the employment process for clinical staff, including recruiting, interviewing, and supervising.Provides supervision and documentation of clinical staff training and development, monitoring compliance of staff credentialing.Fosters a healthy and positive team-approach with staff.Promotes a positive workplace culture to effectively recruit and retain high-quality staff.CLINICAL DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health Related field.License in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or substance use (i.e., LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or similar licensure).Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience required.ASAM and DSM experience and knowledge.5 years of Mental Health and/or Substance Use Treatment experience required, preferably in an outpatient setting.Experience with startup organizations is preferred.Demonstrated computer proficiency.CLINICAL DIRECTOR BENEFITS More detailed information regarding the benefits (including medical insurance, sick time, personal time, PTO, and 10 hours of online CEUs) will be provided upon employment.
