Who We Are Seeking: We are currently seeking a Clinical Director who is excited to partner with a well-reputed, forward-looking, fast-growing mental health organization to deliver top-notch psychotherapy and medication management services and psychoeducational resources to those seeking excellent care, conveniently delivered both in-person and online.
Summary Of The Role: The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical services provided by the staff of Puget Sound Psychotherapy & Psychiatry (PSP). The Clinical Director will provide clinical supervision and consultation as needed to clinicians, supporting clinicians in following PSP's clinical policies and procedures, developing new clinical policies and procedures as needed, helping with continuing education, and overall promoting a clinically rigorous, ethically- and legally-sound and positive clinical work culture. This role includes typical Clinical Psychotherapy work as well as Clinical Director duties. We expect that you'll see about 20 patients a week and balance your client hours with your Director Duties. As the role evolves and the Clinical Director duties take more time, we will reduce the number of client hours.
Clinical Director Role Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision and consultation to the PSP clinicians. This supervision may include chart auditing, conversations surrounding HIPAA compliance and ethical adherence, clinical guidance, answering questions, and coaching surrounding aspects of clinical practice in a group setting (collecting fees, scheduling, client retention, rapport building, crisis intervention, responses to record requests, etc.). Conduct weekly group supervision and 1:1 as required by associates.Help implement our internal continuing education meetings for the clinical team and promote educational opportunities and training.Conduct bi-annual clinical chart audits to ensure compliance with professional standards and insurance guidelines.Engage in community relationship-building opportunities.Facilitate team meeting/clinical consultation groups. Actively encourage participation by clinical team members.Serve as a leader, working closely and collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members to achieve the best results.Provide input to the Owner on client feedback related to clinical services.Attend leadership meetings with the Owner regarding clinical policies, processes and/or procedures that may be needed and/or improved upon to meet legal and ethical standards and customer service.Maintain weekly documentation regarding tasks completed as well as who seeks clinical case consults and who attends peer consult meetings.Add and/or support the adding of new questions, responses and information to the Clinical Handbook and FAQs on an ad hoc basis while CC'ing Owner on responses to staff.Take ownership over creating any needed clinical documentation procedures and policies.Document reports and consultation with clinicians about high-risk clients and reportable incidents. Follow-up with clinicians regarding risk level and outcome of interventions and reports made.Serve as the point of emergency contact for clinicians in collaboration with the Owner and other clinical leads and clinical supervisors.Able to balance procedures, compliance, and delivering the BEST possible service to our patients. Redefining guidelines, and working with the team for successful implementation of those guidelines and assure that as a team we are moving forward together.Therapist Role Responsibilities: Completion of clinical documentation (case notes & treatment planning) within 24 hours of the session.Provide new clinicians with a thorough "orientation" to the treatment experience at PSP which includes a warm welcome along with discussions about consent to treatment and disclosures (i.e. limits to confidentiality, credit card and late cancel policy, etc.). Ensure same information is provided to patients as part of the onboarding process.Collaborate care appropriately, and as needed with treatment team members within PSP and with our community partners.Maintain accurate and complete case files; the therapist will follow the structure outlined by PSP for chart completeness.Work to build strong, meaningful, therapeutic connections with clients. PSP believes that healing occurs in the context of relationships.Be available for crisis support to supervisees as needed.This position will report directly to the owner, Evonne Noble, LMHC.
