Overview Directs and coordinates management/staff in the delivery of patient care services for all regions. Responsible for the delivery of quality cost effective Hospice home care services to patients/families in compliance with VNS Health procedures, standards, policies and regulatory requirements. Compensation: $109,900.00 - $146,500.00 Annual

Directs and supervises clinical management in delivery of effective patient care services (e.g. admissions, discharges, provision of services, etc.) in compliance with Agency/regulatory requirements governing Homecare. Works under general direction.Collaborates with clinical specialties and other clinical management staff in the implementation of patient careAnalyzes and resolves complex clinical and financial case management problems in collaboration with the VP for Operations, Compliance Specialists and the Legal and Finance Departments.Participates in development and implementation of the Quality Assurance Program as specified by the VP for Operations.In conjunction with Hospice leadership, ensures that staff maintains expertise in field and are up-to-date on clinical issues through orientation, in-service education and continuing education.Collaborates with Hospice leadership to implement, monitor and maintain cost-effective patient service program to maximize reimbursement and complies with free service policies.Develops, coordinates, evaluates and implements communication/workflow procedures in collaboration with regional management to maximize optimal clinical/operational service deliveryParticipates with the clinical management in the administration of the collective bargaining union contract conditions and grievance hearing.Ensures that the highest quality of patient care is provided 24-hours, 7-day a week. Oversees coordination/management of management /staff schedules to meet round the clock operation of clinical services.Performs all duties inherent in a director level position, including, hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, recommending salary actions and when necessary, terminating assigned staff in consultation with SVP and in accordance with Agency policies and procedures. Qualifications Licenses and Certifications:
License and current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State Required
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required Master's Degree in Nursing or other health related field Preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible clinical management experience in a health care setting Required Strong knowledge and understanding of the regulatory/reimbursement requirements governing Hospice Care Preferred
