Position Overview: SeaView Community Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Director to oversee our 20-bed Recovery Center, which offers Residential and Recovery Housing Treatment, our 7-bed Adult Mental Health Residential Program, and our 24/7 Crisis Services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. This is a leadership position requiring strong clinical expertise, program management skills, and the ability to guide and support a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality behavioral health care.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage operations of the Recovery Center, Adult Mental Health Residential Program, and Crisis Services, ensuring high standards of care, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and the achievement of program outcomes.Provide clinical supervision and support to licensed and non-licensed staff, fostering professional development and clinical excellence.Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated care and continuity of services across programs.Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for clients in residential and crisis services, ensuring individualized care and effective recovery strategies.Lead efforts in maintaining a trauma-informed and recovery-focused environment for both clients and staff.Oversee program budgets, staffing, and resources to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.Serve as a key leader in crisis intervention efforts, guiding the team in responding to behavioral health emergencies in the community.Work collaboratively with external partners and referral sources to support seamless transitions into and out of residential and crisis care.Oversee data collection and reporting to support program evaluation and improvement efforts.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) preferred; LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) will also be considered.Must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Alaska.Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Demonstrated experience in residential treatment, crisis intervention, or similar behavioral health services.Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to build and lead a cohesive team in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.Knowledge of trauma-informed care, recovery models, and behavioral health crisis intervention.Why SeaView?: Join a supportive, mission-driven team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals facing behavioral health challenges.
