You will play a crucial role in educating end users about our cutting-edge respiratory device technology used in hospitals and other healthcare facilities, primarily in ICU settings for patients in respiratory distress. This position focuses solely on education—no sales responsibilities or patient care involved. You will gain valuable exposure to the medical device industry, offering significant potential for long-term career advancement.
Please note: This role requires extensive regional travel, with up to 80% of the time spent traveling overnight to support various accounts.
What You'll Do:
Provide peer-to-peer education and consultation to nurses, respiratory therapists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to support their understanding and use of our products.
Assess customer needs and help resolve issues related to medical device knowledge and product understanding.
Deliver in-service education on medical devices to key customers.
Follow up with key accounts and customers to identify and address any unmet educational and clinical needs related to our devices.
Offer clinical and professional expertise to end users, including nursing and respiratory staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Relay customer feedback to our corporate teams to aid in the improvement of new and existing medical devices.
Serve as an educational resource on our device technology.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's Degree
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or RN certification
Active and unrestricted medical license
Experience with hospital call points, particularly in ICU and ED settings, preferred
Commercial exposure is a strong plus
Leadership experience is an advantage
Experience in the medical device industry (either in education or sales) is beneficial
Willingness to travel regionally up to 80% of the time
Ability to thrive in high-pressure and high-intensity environments
Dynamic, confident, and articulate, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, build high-trust relationships, and communicate compellingly and directly.
