The Division of Neuroradiology in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track.

The successful applicant will join a faculty of 70 clinical radiologists involved in imaging at multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial Hospital (a primary, tertiary, and quaternary care County hospital) and from the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows.
Provide clinical imaging services to interpret plain film, CT, and MR studies.
Participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, as well as clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conference.
Supervise the performance of technical personnel.
Be part of the on-call radiology schedule.
Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of neuroradiology.
Provide neuroradiology consultation as requested.
Staff off-site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the Division Director or Chair.
Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of neuroradiology.
Participate in teaching activities related to neuroradiology as required in:
Diagnostic Radiology and integrated Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional Radiology Residency programs.
Neuroradiology Fellowship Program.
Medical student education program.
Radiologic technologist educational programs.
Continuing Medical Education programs.
Potential participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research.
Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS Education: Medical Degree.
Diagnostic Radiology Residency.
Neuroradiology Fellowship.
Certification and Licensing: American Board of Radiology Certified or Board Eligible.
Florida Medical License or Eligible.
Experience: Competitive applicants will have completed at least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Neuroradiology. Prior experience in a university faculty setting preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: Provide clinical imaging services to interpret plain film, CT, and MR studies.
Participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, as well as clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conference.
