CORE JOB SUMMARY The Division of Nuclear Medicine in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, University of Miami Health System and Leonard Miller School of Medicine, is seeking a fellowship-trained candidate for a full-time faculty position at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the clinical educator track.

The successful applicant will join a faculty of 70 clinical radiologists who are involved in imaging at multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial Hospital (a primary, tertiary, and quaternary care County hospital) and from the University of Miami Hospitals and Clinics. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.Participation in the advancement and education of Nuclear Medicine diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows.Experience in general Nuclear Medicine studies such as bone scans, thyroid imaging, nuclear cardiology, renal, gastric, lymphatic, brain, and other types of imaging is required.Experience with state-of-the-art hybrid SPECT/CT and PET/CT imaging is required.Experience in radiopharmaceutical therapy and theranostics is highly desired.Supervise the performance of technical personnel.Be part of the on-call schedule.Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of Nuclear Medicine.Provide Nuclear Medicine consultation as requested.Staff off-site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the Division Director or Chair.Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of Nuclear Medicine.Participate in teaching activities related to Nuclear Medicine as required.Potential participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research.Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.CORE QUALIFICATIONS Education: Medical DegreeDiagnostic Radiology ResidencyNuclear Medicine FellowshipCertification and Licensing: American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified or Board EligibleNuclear Medicine Board (ABNM) Certified or Board EligibleFlorida Medical License or EligibleExperience: Competitive applicants will have completed at least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine.DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS Practice Location(s) Jackson Memorial Hospital, 1611 NW 12th Ave, 33136 Miami, FLUHealth Tower, 1400 NW 12th Ave, 33136 Miami, FLSylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, 1475 NW 12th Ave, 33136 Miami, FLThe Lennar Foundation Medical Center, 5555 Ponce De Leon Boulevard, 33146 Coral Gables, FLUHealth at Kendall, 8932 SW 97th Ave, 33176 Miami, FLUHealth at Plantation, 8100 SW 10th St, 33324 Plantation FLSylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at Deerfield Beach, 1192 E Newport Center Dr, 33442 Deerfield Beach, FLSoleMia (projected completion in 2025), 15055 Biscayne Blvd, 33181 North Miami, FLUHealth at Doral, 8333 NW 53rd Street, 33166 Doral, FL
