Clinical Intake Analyst I Work from home within Washington, Oregon, Idaho or Utah *This role is required to work weekends and holidays due to the sensitive response time required for incoming documentation.
*The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 6am-6pm PST. Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pm PST. We require you are available to work between these hours.

Every day, Cambia's dedicated team of Clinical Analyst's are living our mission to make health care easier and lives better. As a member of the Clinical team, our Clinical Intake Analysts acts as the initial point of receipt for all incoming work for the Clinical Service Operations teams (includes documents related to Utilization Management, Care Management, Disease Management and Appeals. All in service of creating an economically sustainable health care system.
The clinical Analyst's manage timeliness and organization of work received in multiple ways and locations, images work in to the system, and insures HIPAA and privacy standards are met for all incoming documents. Utilizes knowledge and experience to triage the work and determine the nature of the inquiry and correct work assignment. This role does not have a flexible schedule. It may require weekends, and over time.
What You Bring to Cambia: Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
General office experience plus 1 year of experience in Regence Customer Service or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Attributes: * We're looking for someone with solid communication and writing skills, as well as general computer knowledge (think Microsoft Office and internet searching).
* You should be organized, able to enter data accurately, and have some administrative skills under your belt. Plus, a basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare benefits/systems is a must.
* As a Clinical Intake Analyst, you'll need to be able to review clinical documents and forward them to the right people for resolution. This requires some critical thinking and attention to detail.
* Our team is fast-paced, so you'll need to be able to adapt quickly to new information and processes. You should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

What You Will Do at Cambia: * You'll use our systems and tools to research incoming documents related to utilization management, case management, disease management, and appeals, and use your knowledge of member benefits to identify the correct work type and workflow process.
* You'll manage your workload by prioritizing tasks and distributing work to meet deadlines, and ensure that all documentation is imaged and stored in compliance with HIPAA and privacy laws.
* You'll handle a high volume of inquiries on a daily basis, multitasking and asking for help when needed, and adhere to our department's standards for quality, timeliness, and processes.
* You'll also support our Performance Guarantees by providing coverage for urgent appeals on long weekends, and perform basic administrative tasks like requesting equipment maintenance, managing inventory, and mailing correspondence.
* Overall, you'll be a key part of our team, ensuring that our workflows are efficient, our members receive great service, and our department runs smoothly and effectively.
