Clinical Laboratory Associate, Lims Development Support Specialist, Contract

*This is a contract position* In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and implementation of our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) while also contributing to daily laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in clinical laboratory processes and experience with LIMS design, development, and implementations (preferably Sapio LIMS).
What you'll doServe as the primary Laboratory Operations business stakeholder representing the laboratory during the design, development and establishment of a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)Collaborate with IT, software developers, and laboratory staff to define user requirements, workflow processes, and system specifications for the LIMSParticipate in LIMS testing, validation, and implementation processesDevelop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions related to LIMS usageAssist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to LIMS functionalityContribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory operations and LIMS utilizationSupport accessioning activities in the CAP/CLIA laboratoryWhat you'll bring to DELFIBS in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Science, or equivalent3+ years of experience working in a clinical laboratory settingClinical Laboratory Assistant/Associate (CLA) experienceFamiliarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMSs) and their design, development, and implementationStrong understanding of clinical laboratory processes, workflows, and regulatory requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Google, and database managementExperience with LIMS implementation (preferably Sapio LIMS) or large-scale laboratory software projectsKnowledge of relevant regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP, GCP, etc.)Familiarity with next-generation sequencing technologies and workflows$32 - $38 an hour
