Responsibilities:

The Substance Use Outpatient Clinical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations and clinical supervision of an outpatient program serving individuals with substance use disorders (SUD).
This position involves overseeing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and implementing evidence-based practices to support clients' recovery.
Program Leadership & Operations: Oversee the daily clinical operations of the outpatient substance use treatment program.
Ensure the program runs smoothly and is in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission, state/federal laws).
Implement, monitor, and refine program policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Coordinate with external agencies, referral sources, and other community partners.
Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical oversight and supervision to a multidisciplinary team (e.g., therapists, counselors, case managers, peer support specialists).
Facilitate regular team meetings and case consultations to ensure best clinical practices.
Ensure that treatment plans are individualized, evidence-based, and meet client needs.
Assist in the professional development of clinical staff through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Client Care: Ensure that clients receive high-quality, person-centered care in accordance with treatment goals.
Collaborate with clinical staff to assess, diagnose, and develop comprehensive treatment plans for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Monitor adherence to clinical documentation standards and ensure timely completion of client records.
Oversee and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements, state licensure standards, and best practices in substance use treatment.
Conduct audits of clinical files and ensure accurate and comprehensive client records.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives to continuously improve client outcomes.
Staff Management & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate clinical staff.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that promotes professional growth.
Provide ongoing support, supervision, and performance feedback to staff.
Address any performance or behavioral issues with staff in a timely manner.
Financial & Resource Management: Collaborate with senior management to develop and monitor the program's budget.
Ensure efficient use of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
Identify and apply for grants or other funding opportunities to enhance program offerings.
Community Relations & Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and other agencies.
Represent the organization at community events, professional meetings, and conferences.
Promote the outpatient program through outreach and education efforts.
Qualifications : Master's degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (required).
Clinical licensure (e.g., LICSW, RN, PRN and LPC) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders in a clinical setting.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience working in SUD program Excellent written and verbal communication.
Comprehensive knowledge of substance uses disorders, evidence-based treatments, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and clinical documentation.
Understanding of regulatory standards and accreditation processes.
Holds DC license( Active) only.
