Visit our website at HelenaENT.com.*Key Responsibilities:** *Assist providers during exams and in-office procedures*, ensuring a seamless experience for patients.* *Guide patients through their appointments* by escorting them to exam rooms, gathering accurate health histories, updating medication lists, and documenting vital signs like height, weight, and blood pressure.* *Provide essential patient education*, particularly for pre and post-operative care, ensuring they are well-prepared and informed.* *Coordinate diagnostic testing and surgical scheduling*, including obtaining pre-authorizations and keeping physicians and patients updated on any non-approvals.* *Ensure accurate record-keeping* by filing and organizing all relevant reports, labs, and patient information prior to their appointments.* *Maintain organized and well-stocked exam rooms* by prepping medical supplies, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring everything is ready for use.* *Triage calls* and assist with patient, physician, and pharmacy inquiries while communicating important messages to the care team.* *Keep logs and records up to date*, ensuring compliance with medical supply needs and safety checks (such as Cidex expiration dates).* *Support the team as needed*, contributing to a collaborative and efficient clinic environment.*Qualifications:** Solid knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and basic healthcare systems.* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.* Proficiency in reading and following medical orders, along with a solid understanding of lab procedures and medications.* Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, colleagues, and providers.* BLS certification, a high school diploma, and completion of an accredited nursing or medical assistant program are required.*Why You'll Love Working With Us:** Become part of a close-knit, supportive team committed to making a difference in patients' lives every day.* Gain valuable experience in the ENT field while working in a positive and professional environment.If you're ready to take the next step in your healthcare career, we'd love to hear from you!
