As a Clinical Psychologist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population.
This position is within our Refresh Mental Health (RMH) organization, which provides a variety of behavioral and mental health treatments, including individual and group therapy, medication management, and intensive outpatient programs. We seek a full-time and part-time licensed Psychologist for our North Kingstown, RI location (opportunities also available in Barrington, Lincoln and Warwick).

Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and coordinate a clinical treatment program for the diagnosis, treatment, or referral of patients presenting moderate to severe social or mental behavior problemsInvolves patient and/or family in treatment planning as appropriateConducts individual, family or group therapy sessions based on ethical and medical necessity guidelines. Option to develop and provide time-limited psycho-educational groups or ongoing therapy groups

Required Qualifications:
Doctoral degree, PhD or PsyD, in clinical psychology from an APA-approved graduate schoolLicensed Clinical Psychologist for practice in Rhode Island1+ years of experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and familiesProven ability to commute to the location in-person Hybrid (onsite and remote)
Preferred Qualifications:
Dual licensure in neighboring statesSignificant experience evaluating adults and/or children in an outpatient clinical settingExperience providing direct psychotherapy in both individual and group settingsKnowledge and experience in providing neuropsychological, CBT, and other evidence-based interventions is highly valuedProven comfortable completing diagnostic assessments, general psychiatric testing, and providing direct therapy in an outpatient clinical settingProven comfortable working in an outpatient clinical settingProven ability to participate in enriching the training experience of our graduate students and postdoctoral fellowsProven ability to represent the practice in community presentations and lectures (if desired)Proven ability to continue to expand your ability to educate and treat a wide range of patientsProven ability to collaborate with colleagues treating different members of a familyProven ability to form excellent provider-patient alliances and coordinating care with external providers
Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
