Clinical Social Worker

General Summary: The Clinical Social Worker collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to assist patients and families with complex psychosocial needs.
Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, addressing abuse/neglect, substance use disorders, end of life decisions, bereavement support, and behavioral health concerns.
This role also involves providing consultation and resources to the healthcare team and maintaining knowledge of community resources.

Standard Qualifications: Master's degree in social work Experience in individual, family assessment, crisis intervention, grief and loss counseling, and discharge planning preferred State of Michigan Social Work License.
LMSW expected within 5 years of employment Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development and dynamics of behavior for age-related groups.
