Note: This is a 100% remote position with substantial traveling required for Clinical Supervision and other department-related traveling. Must be located in California JOB SUMMARY The Wound Pros (TWP) Clinical Supervisor will be a part of our company's mission to heal wounds and prevent amputations in various care facilities. The Clinical Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing clinical operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and providing leadership and guidance to the clinical staff.
The Clinical Supervisor for General Services operates efficiently across all clinical settings, including field locations, facilities (skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation facilities, etc.), and via telehealth. The Clinical Supervisor oversees all clinical activities, including quality assurance, direct communication with clinicians, agencies, facilities, customers, and other departments, as well as training/education, creating and implementing policies and procedures to streamline clinical workflows, achieving company quality and quantity metrics, supporting all RITA app and documentation tasks, monitoring patient and agency progress, monitoring the quality of treatment, and serving as a liaison between clinicians, agencies, facilities, and the Clinical Managers and Clinical Leadership team.
This role works closely with Clinical Managers, clinicians, agencies, facilities, and customers to optimize all clinical services. It may be an internal promotion for field clinicians who have consistently exceeded performance expectations as staff field clinicians. Clinical Leadership Team National Medical Director Assigned Clinical Manager Assigned Supervising Medical Director (if applicable) RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (in addition to Field Clinician Responsibilities and Duties)
1. Supervision and Leadership Provide leadership and guidance to clinical staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Supervise and evaluate clinical personnel performance, offering support, coaching, and mentoring as needed. Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication. Ensure clinicians provide optimal care, following the highest standards to improve healing rates. 2. Clinical Oversight Oversee patient care services, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and best practices. Monitor patient outcomes, review clinical documentation, and maintain quality assurance. Respond to clinical, policy, and procedural questions from clinicians with follow-up and documentation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. 3. Training and Development Coordinate and conduct training programs, keeping clinical staff updated on new procedures, technologies, and advancements. Facilitate professional development to enhance skills and knowledge within the clinical team. 4. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and licensure requirements. Stay informed on healthcare law changes, implementing necessary adjustments in the clinical department to maintain compliance. 5. Customer Care Manage all internal and external sales and marketing issues, negative interactions, and customer complaints. Provide in-services, training, and support for agencies, facilities, and accounts associated with TWP. Act as a liaison between clinicians, departments, and external customers. 6. Administrative Duties Collaborate with administrative staff to optimize clinical workflows, streamline processes, and improve efficiency. Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the clinical department. Identify metrics and set quarterly goals for the team. Attend all required meetings for the Clinical Supervisor role. Submit monthly progress reports to the Clinical Leadership team. Commit to professional development and participate in departmental testing of new products, projects, and programs. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Full-time employment at The Wound Pros for at least 12 months (if internal promotion), recognized as LINKSter on the Move preferred, with performance exceeding expectations on the last review preferred. RN or higher licensure. Wound Care Certification or intent to certify within six months. Valid and unrestricted driver's license. Current BLS certification. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
