Our partner clinic AboutSkin Dermatology and DermSurgery is looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join their team of highly experienced, talented, Board-Certified Dermatologists devoted to advanced surgical procedures and medicine.
Job Purpose: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for helping oversee the clinical operations of the practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
This role involves managing and mentoring clinical staff, optimizing workflow and patient care processes, and collaborating with physicians to enhance patient outcomes.
The Clinical Supervisor will also play a key role in implementing best practices in dermatological care, addressing patient concerns, and contributing to the continuous improvement of clinical services within the practice.Primary Responsibilities:Approve/manage PTO requests and monthly schedules for clinic staff.Approve time sheets for clinical staff.Facilitate medical rep lunches.Manage communication and ordering pathology including ordering or supplies.Train new hires and assist clinical manager with onboarding.Schedules maintenance of the microscope, autoclave, centrifuge, fire extinguishers, and other equipment as assigned.
Address returned pathology and implement training when needed.Covers medical assistants in time of clinic high volume and employee absences.Manage daily patient flow, ensuring float medical assistant is rooming patients efficiently and administrative support is completed.Regularly check suggestion box for feedback from staff and implement new strategies to continuously build a positive culture.
Weekly call audits to ensure clinical staff are providing exceptional customer service.
Manage outbound Mohs referrals.
Manage sending orders for pathology and labs daily.
Medical supply ordering.
