The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within Montana State Hospital. Clinical Therapists provide patient treatment to include individual therapy, group therapy, and psycho/educational services on and off treatment units at the Montana State Hospital. Responsibilities include providing clinical evaluation and assessment services; recommending and implementing therapeutic interventions and treatment approaches based on evaluation and assessment findings which may include discharge planning/placement; and assisting with social assessments and treatment plan production and coordination as needed.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity:Bachelor's degree in a clinical treatment discipline that may include nursing, psychology, social work, rehabilitation therapy, or similar background involving the treatment of adult psychiatric patients. Master's degree is preferred.Two years of experience providing therapeutic mental health care to seriously mentally ill individuals.Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LCPC).
