Closed-End Funds Associate (0680)

Our client, a top-tier law firm with a strong presence in the financial services sector, is seeking an associate with over 5 years of experience in working with registered investment companies, particularly closed-end investment companies. The successful candidate will join their Financial Services group and will be expected to contribute to their leadership in representing closed-end investment companies and their advisers.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Investment Company Act and Investment Advisers Act, significant expertise in closed-end investment companies, and familiarity with federal securities laws and relevant exchange rules. Experience with exchange-traded funds, variable insurance products, business development companies, investment advisers, and/or commodities work will be considered a plus. Prior experience in a large law firm, in-house, or regulatory agency is preferred.
