Cloud Data Warehousing Director

POSITION OVERVIEW: Our client, located in the Chicago, IL area is growing and they are teaming up with us to find a Cloud Data Warehousing Director. The right candidate will have the ability to adapt to changing technology and apply it to the needs of this company. Great communication and personal skills are a must. This person will be responsible for the overall technical solution delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) cross functional coordinationEstablish and maintain controls for technical solution deliveryWork closely with others to define overall solution scopeWork closely with EIT functional teams to estimate requested scope and identify team resourceWorks with business and EPMO areas to address any gaps in scope versus capacityIdentify and document technical deliveryReviews estimates and verifies cross-team consistencyDocuments and manage technical solutions deliveryProvide status updates on technical solution delivery initiativesAdherence to all technical solutions methodology processes and practicesREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of developing and integrating technical solutionsExperience with Data warehousing, data analyst, Data Marts, and BI Code Development toolsExperience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCPExperience with ETL code-development tools, IBM InfoSphere/DataStage, Ab-Initio, Informatica; database technologies including, DB2, Oracle, VerticaMultiple development methodologies, including RUP and Agile
