Physicians' Clinic of Iowa's Department of Family Medicine is seeking a full-time CMA to work in our busy practice.
Duties include but are not limited to: Prepare patients for examsAssist with proceduresPrepare and administer vaccines and injectionsFollow up on and record test resultsComplete prior authorizations for treatment and diagnostic testingScreen calls for physicians and answer patient questionsMinimum Requirements: Must have current certification. CPR certification required, or ability to obtain within 90 days.
The successful candidate must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times. The qualified individual will be patient-focused, possess excellent communication skills, and must work well with team members. Must also have a high level of comfort in working with and become proficient in computer systems.
