Summary This CMM Programmer/Quality Engineer ensures the correct use of advanced quality planning and engineering to enhance quality, reliability and acceptance of system, processes and products.  Provide a professional level of quality customer service to both internal and external customers/suppliers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Monitor the performance of the product quality and reliability systemsGenerate and maintain accurate documentation relating to quality, reliability and processCreate CMM programs to support part quality verificationMeasure tool components and document for future referenceImplement detection systems to eliminate problems that affect quality and reliabilityPrepare and present reports (PPM, Cost of Quality, NCR, Process Routing, etc)Develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solvingAccurately files all Quality paperwork (customer complaints, control plans, quality alerts, weekly logs, etc)Manage and control gauge calibration systemAccurately complete and submit on time customer PPAP'sDevelop Control Plans & In Process Inspection RecordsResponsible for issuing NCR's, creating a process for containment, writing clear instructions and reportsResponsible for performing 8-D corrective actions and writing reports for submission to customerQualifications, Education, Experience Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent (GED) Minimum 5 years experience working in a Quality Department in a manufacturing environment or CQE diploma or equivalentMust have PC-DMIS CMM programming experienceKnowledge and experience with formal documentation systems and methods particularly ISO9001 and IATF16949 Precision Resource is an equal opportunity employer, M/F/D/V.
