The CMS Specialist is responsible for managing, updating, and optimizing content on our company's content management systems.
This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the company's goals.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of CMS platforms.
What You'll Be Doing: Content Management: Create, edit, and publish content on the CMS according to the content calendar.
Ensure all content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligns with company branding and messaging guidelines.
Manage multimedia content, including images, videos, and documents.
CMS Administration: Maintain and update the CMS platform, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Configure and customize CMS settings to optimize performance and usability.
Monitor and report on website performance, user engagement, and content effectiveness.
Collaboration: Work with marketing, design, and IT teams to develop and implement content strategies.
Coordinate with content creators and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
Assist in the creation of templates and layouts to enhance content presentation.
SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search engine rankings.
Use analytics tools to track content performance and user behavior, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on CMS usage and best practices.
Develop and maintain documentation for CMS procedures and guidelines.
What You'll Bring to the Team: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Proven experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, Wordpress, Webflow, or similar.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (nice to have).
Familiarity with SEO tools and practices.
Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.
Preferred: Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
Experience with content migration and data import/export.
The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below.
In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package.
Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above.

$45-$65 USD
