Certified Nursing Assistant Compensation and Benefits:

Certified Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:
Help clients with daily activities, including but not limited to: bathing, dressing, serving meals, helping clients eat, turning clients and ambulating clientsTake vital signsExamine clients for bruises, blood in urine or other injuries/woundsCollect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family membersProvide and empty bedpansLift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.Clean and sanitize client areas, including changing bed sheetsStay up-to-date on CNA training, policies and procedures
Certified Nursing Assistant Requirements:
Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training courseCurrent CPR (American Heart Association) CertificationAbility to think and work independently and with directionComfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environmentGood communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personalityUp-to-date identificationBasic computer skillsExcellent personal hygiene
