*Overview*


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team.
In this role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring a high standard of care.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.




*Responsibilities*


* Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.


* Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.


* Provide support in medical procedures, including phlebotomizing when necessary.


* Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.


* Assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.


* Implement aseptic techniques during patient care to prevent infection.


* Support patients with dementia care by providing emotional support and engaging them in activities.


* Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a teaching hospital setting to enhance patient care.


* Participate in training sessions and continuing education opportunities to improve skills.




*Qualifications*


* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Nursing Assistant training program preferred.


* Certification as a Nursing Assistant is required.


* Experience in critical care or hospital medicine is a plus.


* Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Cerner is advantageous.


* Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices.


* Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.


* Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Pay: Up to $29.00 per hour
