We are looking for dedicated, compassionate, and detail-oriented employees to join our team and our mission to Excel in Care!Duties and Responsibilities:Performs specific resident care procedures under the direction of a licensed nurse.Answers call lights/bells courteously in a timely manner.Assists with admitting, transferring and discharging residents.Assists with implementation of resident activities.Completes resident care record each shift.Provides a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.Responds to all emergency situations following appropriate procedures and notifications.Performs and adheres to all policies and procedures related to Infection Control safety regulations including fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, etc.Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.Qualifications:Successful completion of certified nurse aide program. CNA certification valid and in good standing. 1 year experience as a certified nurse aide, preferred.Strong interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and cooperate with and respond effectively to the instructions and requests from a diverse group of residents, visitors and staff and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.Good writing and oral communication skills.Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them.Ability to respond to and work with a mature resident population, creating a warm, caring and supportive environment for the enjoyment of the residents and to promote this philosophy to all team members.Our organization is an equal opportunity employer.
