Description Schedule: 36 hours/week, working 12 hour shifts The Certified Nursing Assistant performs basic routine nursing duties/tasks which do not require professional training and education. These duties/tasks center around the resident by assisting them in all activities of daily living. The CNA performs under the supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) at all times. Providence Transitional Care Center has a total of 52 beds with a good mix of acute stay residents vs. Long Term Care. This unit is about stability and the work is fun and challenging. It has 12-18 Medicare beds. Required Qualifications: Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualification: 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or private care-giver.
