Union position CNA rate: Starting rate $25.42 Shift differential for shifts after 3 pm

POSITION SUMMARY
Our compassionate CNAs are key members of our interdisciplinary team that provides care, service, and support to our residents.
Our CNAs are responsible for a number of
important tasks such as:
Assisting residents to feel and look their best by helping them with getting dressed, bathing, as well as grooming.
Ensuring that they receive needed care/service by proactively communicating with other members of the interdisciplinary team about resident needs.
Helping our residents feel comfortable in their space by giving attention to cleanliness and furniture arrangement.
Supporting residents in pursuing their interests by helping them engage in our life enrichment program.
Sharing your knowledge and expertise with other team members to better serve the residents.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Current, active CNA Certificate or graduation from a CNA Certification program.
Current First Aid certification.
Prior skilled nursing experience, minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA.
Ability to speak English clearly and to write legibly, to understand and carry out directions and instructions in written/verbal form.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical demands include stooping, bending, turning, stretching, lifting to assist residents and move equipment (to include a medication cart).
Ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances.
Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs.
Visual and audio acuity necessary to detect changes in residents conditions.
Manual dexterity required to operate equipment.
