Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Location: York, PA Duration: Full time, Contract to Hire Shift: 2nd Shift, Mon-Fri Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hr. (Depending on experience) Job Overview: As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality steel components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of CNC programming, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
\n Key Responsibilities:Operate CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in all cuts and fabricationsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematicsSet up and adjust machinery according to specificationsPerform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performanceInspect finished products for accuracy and quality, adjusting as necessaryCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesMaintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety protocols Qualifications:Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator, ideally in the steel or metal fabrication industryFamiliarity with CNC programming and basic machine maintenanceAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods
