We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist to program, setup, and operate horizontal and vertical mills.

Functional Role: To safely and efficiently operate CNC milling work centers to manufacture parts to required specifications and tolerances.
Reports to: Production Supervisor - Machining
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Own or willing to purchase the minimum set of tools required for job performance and a locking toolbox. Effective verbal communication skills Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on an as-needed basis, including extra hours during the weekdays, Saturdays and occasionally on Sundays or holidays Physical ability to frequently lift and carry 50 lbs.
and to occasionally lift up to 90 lbs A minimum of five years of experience operating CNC machinery A minimum of one year experience programming and operating Mazak CNC equipment Ability to set up, program, and operate horizontal and vertical mills Proficient using Mastercam software to program 3 and 4 axis milling centers Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings Ability to use measuring tools to accurately measure parts Measures of Performance and Involvement: Meet production standards as listed on the routing sheet Produce product that meets the required dimensional accuracy and surface finish The CNC Machinist will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC milling work centers to manufacture parts to required specifications and tolerances.
