Work Arrangement: Onsite

Operation of CNC Mills and Lathes to produce high quality, precision tooling used in the Maag family of products. They will operate all CNC equipment in the production of this tooling in a safe and efficient manner. Will work in a team-oriented environment with individual responsibilities in each step of the machining process.
Read and interpret blueprintsSet up and operate CNC Mills and LathesEstablish zero and reference points for each part to be machinedUnderstand work holding systemsWork from set up sheetsUse the most effective and efficient methods to operate each machineInstall machining programs into the machineSend correct offsets to each tool being usedMonitor and replace worn tools as neededDimensionally and visually inspect the product to assure the product meets all print and customer requirementsOther tasks as assigned by managerThe incumbent considers all interests of quality, accident prevention and occupational safety as well as environmental safety in a preventive manner within his scope of responsibility and supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material and environment actively.
Work in this position is in a machine shop environment. The employee may be exposed to airborne particles, metal shavings, sharp cutting tools, and moving mechanical parts. PPE and hearing protection are required at all times.

Wire and plunge EMD experience.
