We are now hiring for a CNC Mill Machinist - Swing Shift.WHAT YOU WILL DO:As a CNC Mill Machinist, you may be responsible for but not limited to:Set up, operates, and adjusts semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled CNC machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequence of operations.Ability to run more than one unit simultaneously.Must be able to check parts for conformance to specifications.Maintain, implement, and improve 5-S Principles.Perform regular department housekeeping duties as necessary.Sustain production standards and quality.Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses inserts, fixtures, and toolingPerforms daily and regular cleaning and light machine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipmentPerform preventive maintenance on equipment as required.ABOUT YOU:High School Diploma or equivalent.7+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.Experience with CNC machining techniques and methods, experience setting up and running 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC Mills.Experience using Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Haas CNC controls.Working knowledge of operations including drilling, boring and milling, turning, etc., employing recognized tooling and procedures and where tolerances are close, but not difficult to maintainProficiently interpret in depth aerospace blueprints.Self-motivated individual that needs minimal supervision to be successful.Ability to read & follow verbal & written work instructions in the English language.Requires the ability to follow written instructions and read blueprint specificationsAble to operate and adjust semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequence of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.Must be able to check parts for conformance to specifications.BENEFITS:401K Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Accrued PTO and 10 paid holidaysTuition assistance for professional growth Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
