Full job description CNC OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working CNC Operator for a company based in Cullman AL . In this role, we are looking for a CNC Operator. You will play an important role in ensuring machines operate swiftly in accordance with company guidelines for. Pay Ra nge
$24.00- 26.00 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule and Hours 7:00 am- 4:00 pm Monday- Friday
CNC Operator Duties and Responsibilities Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including burn table, drill press, grinding and milling. Plans machine by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and orthographic drawings. Takes inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipated stock, and placing orders. Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points. Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, and attachments. Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
CNC Operator Qualifications and Requirements Ability to accurately use and read tape measures, thread gauges, micrometer, protractor, and dial calipers. Good Computer and basic math functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing. Strong comprehension and analytical abilities High school Diploma 3 years' experience CNC machine operator Ability to operate CNC mills. Great computer and technical skills Good attention to detail Strong team player Must be self-motivated. Job Type
