CCHER is a developing initiative in partnership with the Colleges of Human Medicine and Osteopathic Medicine and the Henry Ford Health System, with a mission to advance cancer health equity through innovative research, collaboration, and community engagement. We seek an experienced and motivated leader with an established research program in cancer biology, cancer health disparities, or related fields, who is committed to playing a key role in shaping the Center's future and contributing to a growing initiative that addresses cancer disparities in underserved populations. Responsibilities Leadership & Vision: Collaborate in defining and refining CCHER's vision, mission, and strategic priorities. Research Excellence: Maintain an active, externally funded research program in cancer biology or cancer health equity that aligns with CCHER's mission. Collaboration: Foster interdisciplinary collaborations within MSU, the Henry Ford Health System, and with external partners to build a robust research network. Mentorship: Mentor and support junior faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students involved in cancer health equity research. Community Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage with communities affected by cancer disparities. Advocacy: Advocate for policies and practices that promote cancer health equity.
